Schools Goal, No. 8
The Office of Catholic Schools will develop and implement the comprehensive Pre-K through 12 curriculum for each subject area that is infused with Catholic values to ensure that all students are challenged to reach their full potential both academically and spiritually.
Objective No. 1
Professional learning communities will be established to assist in developing the standard curriculum and to ensure appropriate integration of Catholic values.
Objective No. 2
Local school leadership, in collaboration with the Office of Catholic Schools, will develop metrics to measure the quality of these academic programs in order to ensure academic vitality for all schools.
Objective No. 3
Local school leadership will collaborate with the Office of Catholic Schools to ensure that teachers follow a well-integrated and appropriately aligned curriculum, while utilizing differentiated instruction and multiple resources from respected academic sources.
Objective No. 4
Local school leaders will create a school environment where educators will have opportunities to pursue professional development that engages best practices to facilitate and enhance student learning.
Objective No. 5
The Office of Catholic Schools will provide and promulgate professional development opportunities that address effective teaching strategies, best practices, and the integration of Catholic values.
Objective No. 6
The Office of Catholic Schools will collaborate with local school administrators and teachers to ensure that reasonable accommodations are made for students admitted with special needs and that appropriate in-service training is provided for teachers in dealing with students with special needs.

The Office of Catholic Schools will actively recruit qualified teachers that reflect the ethnic and racial diversity of the community.

The Office of Catholic Schools in collaboration with school administrators and professional staff will ensure that assessment methods and practices are in place and utilized for the benefit of students across the Diocese.
Objective No. 1
Professional learning communities will work with the Office of Catholic Schools to ensure that data-driven decisions are made with regard to curriculum and instructional delivery based on a variety of tools used to monitor, review, and evaluate curriculum and co-curricular programs.
Objective No. 2
The Office of Catholic Schools will work with local administrators to ensure that a variety of curriculum-based assessments aligned with learning outcomes and instructional practices are in place to assess student learning.
Objective No. 3
The Office of Catholic Schools will work with school administrators and teachers to ensure that there is consistency in the grading scale throughout the Diocese.
Schools Goal, No. 10
The Office of Catholic Schools will collaborate with local Board members, administrators, and teachers to ensure that all schools implement an appropriate array of co-curricular and extracurricular programs designed to ensure a holistic climate, appropriate student and parent involvement, and development of student and family life.
Objective No. 1
The Office of Catholic Schools will work with local school administrators and stakeholders to ensure that parent satisfaction surveys are conducted annually.
Objective No. 2
At the secondary level student satisfaction surveys will also be conducted annually.
Objective No. 3
The Office of Catholic Schools will work with high school administrators to ensure that guidance services follow current best practices and are implemented at each high school and with resources made available to elementary schools as appropriate.
Objective No. 4
The Office of Catholic Schools will collaborate with pastors, principals, and teachers to ensure that all schools and their students receive the benefits of counseling services.
