The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of its eighth annual iGiveCatholic campaign. This year’s campaign raised over one million dollars in support of the schools, church parishes, and ministries of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
“We are humbled and grateful for the incredible response from donors during this year’s iGiveCatholic campaign,” said Amy Ponson, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana. “The remarkable amount raised reflects the unwavering dedication of our donors. This figure far exceeds our expectations for this year’s campaign and we are immensely proud to announce we ranked #5 out of 50 dioceses that participated this year! What I am most proud of is the work our parishes and schools have done and how these gifts will help to impact families in need, educate seminarians, improve security at schools, upgrade school bathrooms and so many more worthy projects. A huge thank you to the 1,700+ donors who prayed for and supported our ministries this Giving Tuesday! Our donors are truly the heroes transforming tomorrow.”
The success of the iGiveCatholic campaign highlights the power of collective giving and the strong sense of community within the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Through this initiative, donors have the opportunity to support the schools, church parishes, and ministries that hold great significance to them.
The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana extends its deepest gratitude to all the donors, volunteers, and organizations who contributed to the remarkable success of the eighth iGiveCatholic campaign. Their tremendous support and commitment have made a significant difference in the lives of many, and their generosity will have a lasting impact on the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
