Catholic Charities is here to help take the stress off of families in financial crisis by providing limited assistance with payment towards your rent or utility bills, items needed for employment when a new job is found, or car repairs (if employed). Please scroll down the page (past the online application) to view descriptions of other programs offered that may also be of help to your family.
In order to apply for assistance, please complete the application below. An email will be sent to you once your application is received, asking you to submit documentation either by return email (jgaudet@htdiocese.org), fax (985-876-7751) or by dropping your documents off in the locked box outside of our building on 1220 Aycock Street, Houma.
Assistance is limited to residents of the areas in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Applications will be reviewed to ensure that the program criteria is met prior to assistance being given.

Homeless? While we don't have a shelter we operate , we do seek to provide comfort
for those living on the streets by providing a backpack with personal supplies in it
to help make living outdoors bearable. A complete list of shelters
