Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Suzanne Troxclair, gives us the latest update on specifics of how we will be returning to school this Fall. Topics include Catholic identity, benchmark assessments, water bottles & water fountains, food service, and bus transportation.

Suzanne Troxclair, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Houma- Thibodaux, announced today the dates for the safe return to classroom instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. As outlined in a video released this morning, Troxclair said the diocesan high schools would return the week of August 10-14 for orientation (with specific dates announced by those schools to their respective parents), and the elementary schools returning to class on Friday, August 14th.

The Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops strongly supports the Love Life Amendment, which would successfully amend the Louisiana constitution and thereby continue to strengthen our commitment to end abortion in our state.

Bishop Fabre invites us to join our Governor and the people of Louisiana in prayer and fasting this upcoming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 20-22.
