Paul Maclean

In July of 2013, after discussions with Bishop Sam Jacobs, Paul Maclean volunteered to become the Lay Coordinator of the Office of the New Evangelization for the diocese.  Then, later in 2013, after Bishop Shelton Fabre was installed (as the fourth bishop of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux), Paul continued to act in that voluntary role.

Paul has been married since 1970 and has two daughters and four granchildren. He is a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Houma. He has and does travel throughout South Louisiana making presentations in many venues on numerous topics - all directed toward evangelization and especially the unique role of South Louisiana in these times.  To facilitate statewide evangelization, Paul has a personal website that he maintains to help network Louisiana Catholics all across the State.  Please visit that personal website for information about Louisiana as well as some of the events, not only in this diocese but, all across the Pelican State.
