  • Would you like to help make Christmas more possible for those that are in need in our area?  Would you like to help give Christmas gifts for children that might not receive any this year?

Every year Catholic Charities works with families who are in need and are unable to provide gifts for their children at Christmas.  Through a ministry called Santa's Helpers, we work to pair these families with other families and businesses who want to help provide Christmas gifts and make this year a little brighter for them during the holidays.

The need this year is even greater in the midst of the pandemic and the state of our local economy.  More families than ever before are facing financial hardships. Every act of generosity goes a long way in making their time together feel a little more normal.

If you would like to help a family in need during this upcoming holiday season, we want to invite you to consider partnering with us to bring a little more light to a family in need this Christmas.

To get paired up with a family in need , complete the form below, or to learn more about this ministry, call our office at (985) 876-0490 and ask for the Santa's Helper Program.  Questions about this program via e-mail should be sent to jgaudet@htdiocese.org.

You will be provided basic information about the family you are paired with, and you can either purchase the gifts yourself, or simply make a monetary donation and we’ll put the elves to work shopping for a gift for the family.

To ensure that everyone has a chance to prepare for their family, we ask that donor families and businesses complete the application process by November 30, 2020.

  • Donor Form

If you would like to become a donor family or business, please complete the application below. A member of the Catholic Charities staff will contact you with information about the family you are paired with.
